Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Dashboard

1. Accessing the Dashboard

To find the Shopping Ad Diagnostics Hub:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Navigate to the Ad Platform of your campaigns.

  3. Within the dashboard, if issues exist, you’ll be shown a ‘Fix Issues’ link.

  4. Once you have selected this, you will be taken to the Dashboard.

  5. Here you’ll see three main tabs: Product Issues, Account Issues, and Store Status.


2. Understanding the Dashboard Tabs

  • Product Issues Tab:
    This tab lists all product-related issues, such as disapprovals, missing data, or policy violations.

    • Severity levels are indicated as:

      • Error: Must be fixed immediately.

      • Warning: Not blocking, but may impact performance.

      • Suggestion: Recommended improvements for better results.

    • Use filters to narrow results by product name, campaign type, or issue severity.

  • Account Issues Tab:
    This tab highlights account-wide problems like payment issues, verification failures, or account suspensions.

    • Each issue includes a description and a Learn How to Fix link for guidance.

  • Store Status Tab:
    This tab monitors store-related issues, such as website verification, business information updates, or Google Merchant claims.

    • Indicators such as green checkmarks (✔️) or red Xs (❌) show the current status of each item.


3. Identifying and Prioritizing Issues

  1. Start with Errors, as these block your ads from running.

  2. Address Warnings next to improve your campaign's effectiveness.

  3. Review Suggestions for opportunities to optimize your ads further.

Use the severity filters at the top of each tab to focus on critical issues.


4. Resolving Issues

  1. View Issue Details:

    • Click on any issue to see a detailed description and why it occurred.

    • Example: "Missing Product Data: Price information not provided."

  2. Take Action:

    • Follow the provided steps to fix the issue.

    • Links to relevant help articles or buttons to resync feeds are embedded for easy resolution.

  3. Get more help (if needed):

    • For complex problems, open the Help widget in the bottom right-hand corner of the page and search for more information, or if needed, submit a support ticket to contact our support team directly from the dashboard.


5. Keeping Your Dashboard Up-to-Date

  • Automatic Updates:
    The dashboard refreshes regularly to reflect the latest issue status.

  • Manual Sync:
    If you’ve resolved an issue but don’t see it updated, click the Sync Now button at the top of the dashboard to refresh the data immediately.
