How to reauthorize Kliken's access to your WooCommerce store

If Kliken stopped seeing your WooCommerce products and nothing about them changed, its access to your store may have been withdrawn. Reauthorize it from the plugin in seven steps.

Kliken reads your product catalog through the WooCommerce plugin, using access you granted when you installed it. If that access is withdrawn, our requests stop being authorised and your catalog looks empty to us even though nothing about your products has changed. Reauthorizing re-grants the same permissions you approved at install.

This applies to stores on WooCommerce or WordPress, where you can still sign in to Kliken but we cannot see your catalog. If you cannot sign in to Kliken at all, that is a different problem and these steps will not fix it: contact us in Chat or at [email protected].

When to reauthorize

Reauthorize if your campaign was working and then stopped without you changing your products, and one of these is true:

  • Kliken reports that it cannot find any enabled products, or cannot connect to your store, but your products are published, public, and have images.

  • You reinstalled or updated the Kliken plugin, migrated the site, changed hosts, or restored a backup.

  • Someone cleaned up unused API keys or integrations on the site.

  • You already reinstalled the plugin and the error came back. Reinstalling does not restore withdrawn access on WooCommerce.

If you have not yet checked your product settings, start with Why does Kliken say no products were found in my WooCommerce store? A product saved as Draft or set to Private is a far more common cause, and reauthorizing will not fix it.

How to reauthorize

Reauthorizing does not affect your existing campaigns, your product selections, or your billing. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is cancelled. It re-grants the same permissions you approved when you installed the plugin. In practice, if you need to do this your campaigns are not running anyway, because we cannot see the products they are meant to advertise.

  1. Log in to the WordPress site where the Kliken plugin is installed.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Plugins, then Installed Plugins.

  3. Find our plugin in the list and click Dashboard underneath it. It is published by Kliken, and depending on when you installed it the name shown may be AI Powered Marketing, Kliken: Ads + Pixel for Meta, or Google, Social, Retargeting all-in-one Marketing for WooCommerce. Look for Kliken as the author.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the settings panel and click Advanced Options to expand it. In some versions this is labelled Advanced Settings.

  5. Click Authorize API Access. A confirmation screen opens.

  6. Click Approve.

  7. You are taken into your Kliken account. Open your campaign, return to the product or category selection step, and resync your store.

Do not click Enable Edit, and do not type over the Account Id, Application Token, or Verification Token values. Those fields are filled in for you and changing them by hand will break the connection rather than restore it. See WooCommerce Advanced Options for what each value means.

After you reauthorize

Kliken picks up your catalog on the next sync. Once that runs, your published products will be listed in the campaign's product selection step.

If the same error comes back straight away, reauthorizing was not the problem. The next thing to rule out is your site refusing our requests altogether, which a firewall, a security plugin, or your host can do without you knowing. See Kliken is blocked from your store's API (no products found).

If it still fails

Contact us in Chat or at [email protected]. To let us test your store's connection on the first reply instead of the third, include all four of these:

  • Your store URL.

  • The full URL of one product you expect to see in your campaign.

  • The exact error text, or a screenshot of it.

  • The name of your hosting provider, and any security plugin, firewall, or CDN in front of your site.

That last item is the one merchants usually leave out, and it is the one that tells us whether we are being blocked.
