How to ensure your ads are showing - product selection

To ensure your ads are displayed, you need to select products during the campaign setup, but sometimes, this may need to be revised during the life of your campaign.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do this:

  1. Select Store Categories:

    • During the campaign setup, you will be prompted to select your store categories for advertising.

    • The products included in your ads will be based on how you have grouped them into these categories within your store.

  2. Handling New Categories:

    • Sometimes new categories you create in your store might not immediately update in our system.

    • If this happens, you will receive a notification with the following message: "Action Required: No Active Products in Your Selected Categories..."

  3. Steps to Resolve the Notification:

    • Log into the Kliken App:

      • Go to the applicable Ad Product in the menu to access your campaigns.

      • Refer to the email you received with the subject "Action Required: No Active Products in Your Selected Categories...". This email will provide details on which campaign is experiencing the issue.

    • Manage the Impacted Campaign:

      • Select 'Manage' on the impacted campaign.

      • Click 'Edit'.

    • Select Products for Ads:

      • Navigate to Step named: Select the products for ads -> Edit.

      • Alternatively, select 'Advertise Products in [your categories]'.

    • Update Categories:

      • You will see a list of your store categories; ensure none of them are selected initially.

      • Select the categories containing the products you want to include in your campaign.

      • Click 'Save'.

  4. System Update:

    • After saving, our system will update your store data with our platform and the ad platform.

    • This update usually occurs within a few minutes, but it may take longer if the ad platform decides to re-review the products as part of their approval process. Unfortunately, if that happens, we're unable to provide a specific timeline - but normally, this takes c.72 hours.
