Upgrade Options
When adjusting your budget, you may encounter two options depending on your billing cycle and other factors:
Immediate Change
Effect: You will be charged for the balance immediately and your campaign will start spending at the new budget immediately.
Billing Cycle: This resets your campaign to a new 30-day billing cycle.
Prepaid Spend: Any existing ad credits on your account will be used as additional credits to boost your campaign temporarily.
Best For: Campaigns that are performing well and want to maintain momentum.
Next Bill Cycle
Effect: Your campaign will continue to run with the current budget until the next billing cycle, at which point your billing will increase to the selected amount.
Billing Cycle: The new budget will be applied at the start of the next billing cycle.
Example: If you are set to be billed $150 in 6 days and decide to upgrade your budget to $300, you will not be charged immediately. Instead, you will be charged $300 in 6 days at the start of the next billing cycle.
Downgrade Options
If you need to decrease your budget, you can set this at any time, and it will take effect on the next billing date.
Next Bill Cycle
Effect: Your campaign continues to run with the current budget until the next billing cycle. At that time, your billing will decrease to the selected amount.
Billing Cycle: The new budget will be applied at the start of the next billing cycle.
Example: If you are set to be billed $250 in 6 days and decide to decrease your budget to $150, you will not be charged immediately. Instead, you will be charged $150 in 6 days at the start of the next billing cycle.
