How to Advertise Your Products on Facebook

Are you looking to advertise your products on Facebook? In order to do so, you must provide at least one of the following identifiers: brand name, Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) or Manufacturer Part Number (MPN). If you are seeing this error, it's because your products do not have at least one of these identifiers.

Don't worry, fixing this error is easy! Simply follow the steps below to update your product information and start advertising on Facebook.

Step 1: Update Your Product Information

To fix this error, please go directly into your ecommerce store, and update any products you are advertising to include the required information. This can usually be done by editing the product details or attributes in your store's backend system.

Make sure to include at least one of the following identifiers for each product:

Once you have updated the product information, save the changes and move on to the next step.

Step 2: Wait for Automatic Sync

We'll automatically sync new product data every 24 hours. This means that your updated product information will be sent to Facebook within 24 hours of making the changes in your ecommerce store.

Please note that it may take up to 1-2 business days for the missing universal identifier to be updated for your products on Facebook.

Step 3: Check for Error Resolution

After the automatic sync has occurred, check back on Facebook to see if the error has been resolved. If the error is still showing, please double check that you have included at least one of the required identifiers for each product.

If the error persists, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

Congratulations, you have successfully updated your product information and resolved the error on Facebook. Your products should now be ready to advertise to potential customers on the platform.
