Instagram doesn't allow clickable links inside post captions. This is an Instagram restriction, not a Kliken issue ā any link in an Instagram feed post shows as plain text. People can read or copy it, but they can't tap it.
Facebook is different: links in Facebook posts are clickable. Because Social Boost publishes to both, the same post's link is tappable on Facebook but appears as text on Instagram.
How to give people a clickable link from Instagram
Add a link to your Instagram bio. Instagram lets you place one or two links in your profile bio. Put your link there and point to it in your post (for example, "link in bio").
Promote the post. A Promoted Post runs as an ad, so it can include a clickable button to your website ā giving people a way to tap through from Instagram. See Promoted Posts: What They Are, How They Work, and What You Get.
What about the short link in my post?
If your post includes a short link, the link still works ā people just can't tap it directly in an Instagram caption. They can copy it into a browser, or you can use one of the options above.
