You've canceled your campaign, and you're wondering what happens next?
If you find unexpected charges even after canceling campaigns or closing your Kliken account, it may help to verify completion of the processes and understand ongoing billing conditions.
IMPORTANT:
Once a campaign has been cancelled, it will continue to run for the remainder of the billed month, or until the budget has depleted. This means that you will still receive any remaining clicks or impressions that you have paid for.
After that, the campaign will be saved within your account and can be reinstated anytime.
If you do NOT want your campaign to continue AFTER cancellation, please follow our Refund Request Process which can be found here.
Remember, cancellation of campaigns must be done on a campaign by campaign basis. As a refresher, more information can be found here.- Once the billing cycle ends, charges associated with the campaign will completely stop. To ensure no lingering charges, double-check campaign status to confirm it is officially marked as canceled.
Deletion of the Kliken App OR the eCommerce partner platform app does not result in the cancellation of products or services.
Reinstating a Cancelled Campaign
If you change your mind and decide to reinstate your cancelled campaign, you can do so with just one click.
Navigate to the Kliken App
Select My Account -> Subscriptions
Select the applicable product
Go to the 'Manage' section where you will see all of your campaigns
Find the cancelled campaign you would like to reinstate
Click on the "Reinstate" button and your campaign and follow the steps. You may be required to complete a payment to reinstate your campaign.
Once you do, your campaign will be back up and running with the exact same content as before.
Please note, depending on how long your campaign has been cancelled, it may need to go through the learning period again, and therefore the initial performance (first 14-21 days) may not be as high as what is was just prior to cancellation.
Tips to Avoid Unintended Charges
Verify Campaign Status: Double-check that all campaigns are marked as "canceled" to terminate billing completely.
Ensure Account Closure: When closing your account, follow up to confirm that it has been successfully processed.
Review Billing Statements: Regularly audit your billing statements to catch any unexpected charges early.
