Billing & Refunds for Promoted Posts

How Billing Works

When you confirm a boost, you set a total budget. That total covers both your Meta ad spend and Kliken's management fee, and Kliken bills it as a single payment — you're not billed separately by Meta. Each boost is a one-time payment: it's separate from your Social Boost monthly subscription, and there's no subscription for boosting itself.

Boosts start from a minimum budget of $15 and a minimum length of 1 day. There is no setup fee — only the management fee described below.

The three costs to keep in mind

  • Social Boost subscription — your monthly plan for creating and scheduling posts. Billed on its own monthly cycle, not per boost.

  • Promoted Post management fee — 15% of each boost's total budget, charged per boost. Non-refundable.

  • Meta ad spend — the rest of your boost budget, delivered as ads on Facebook and Instagram.

For a boost, you make one payment to Kliken that combines the Meta ad spend and the 15% management fee. Meta does not bill you directly. Your Social Boost subscription is billed separately, on its own cycle.

What Is the Management Fee?

The management fee is 15% of your total boost budget, charged to cover campaign setup and delivery. It is non-refundable regardless of when you cancel.

What Happens If I Cancel?

You can cancel a scheduled or active boost at any time.

If the boost has not started:

  • The ad spend portion is refunded automatically

  • The management fee is not refunded

If the boost is already running:

  • Any unspent ad spend is refunded automatically

  • Budget already used to serve ads is not refunded

  • The management fee is not refunded

Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Why Was My Full Budget Not Refunded?

There are two reasons your refund may be less than your total budget:

  1. The management fee is non-refundable — this portion is never returned

  2. Ads may have already run — any budget already spent delivering your boost cannot be recovered

How Long Do Refunds Take?

Refund timing depends on your payment provider, but typically appear within five (5) to ten (10) business days.
